High Holborn is situated just over te ≤n minutes’ walk away from LSE campus, ₩& near the fashionable areas o÷☆©f Covent Garden and Soho♠ σ. The main shopping district of Oxfor✘♣↓d Street is moments away, as are many of th •β>e capital’s major landmarksλ£♠®.

I chose the General Course because I÷β¥ wanted a rigorous education. Thre©×δe Smith students who had gone to LSE the year beΩ±↕fore raved about thei§€≥λr experience, and being in London sounde↔ d like a dream.
What I enjoy most abo¥'ut LSE is the effort it puts intβ★•o “understanding the cause÷ ¥s of things” (LSE’s m$×☆otto), demonstrated by the incredible group ∏¶εof professors, the inspiring lectuε↓rers, and the speakers t™ hat come to campus. A good reflection of L★¶↔SE’s great academic practice ™≤≈↑is LSE LIFE – a program d©•€δedicated to helping students be the best they can♣∑ be that I have found to bε™♣e exceptionally useful.
LSE and General Course students are particularly&£ good at balancing academic work ÷εwith enjoying life and the city. I t↑☆€λend to study during the day a♣εnd then get dinner or >×★see entertainment with fr•→∞βiends during the evening₹∑s and weekends, so I am able to maint≈ain social ties and have fu₩→₩λn, while I am knee-deep in reading!
The benefit of a full year abr→λoad is congruent with the time devoted to it - π£ ∑the longer you stick with it¥φ≤, the more you get out of it☆"₩, the more you understand it, and the more£γ you reap its benefits. Spending a ye↓↕ar at LSE means you get to build meaningful λ↓↔♠relationships with fellow students, and have∞φ↓ time to explore Lon↔•don, the UK and Euroα★pe.
