Program Dates and Courses
Students can choose two typ✘® es of language courses: ©α♠ΩMonthly English and 12-week Intensive English € §(ELPI). All students will be mixed with other Englis÷∏ h language learners from vari©"♦★ous countries based on their €✔×class level with an average clas>✘↑s size of 15 students (18 s ↕≤tudents maximum).

The program provides intensive English cla®<∏sses and sociocultural activities designed to h"♦elp students practise their language s ♦≥kills. The curriculumφγ>> is based on cross-cultural communication, £☆with an emphasis on speaking and listeningβ' skills.

Stage One:Students will first attend “Monthly Englφπish” program as the prep₽↓¥€aration course.
Stage Two:Students will then attend the “In∏÷'tensive English” course (EL$≠'PI). The academic, social and cultural e₩↔∑xperience that students enjoy iπ₩n “ELPI” make this one of UVic≤★±γ’s most popular programs—welcomin≤$g over 1,000 students e®ach year. This program incλ₩↔ludes a range of cla∞☆ ss levels, allowing stude♠nts to build on progress in previous sessions≥ and also offers a pathway to University o✔™×f Victoria degree progra §&ms.
